Swan Hill Food Hub

The local initiative of the Food For All Swan Hill Region: Food Hub was created based on a community need for flexible food relief for those experiencing food insecurity. The Food Hub is a community led initiative from the Food For All working group which began in 2017. The Food Hub provides Swan Hill organisations with access to food relief for their clients. The Food Hub is made up of two shipping containers; one with air conditioning for pantry staples and the other, a refrigerated shipping container which has the ability to store perishable food items.

The Food Hub operates as a model where organisations can join as a member agency of the Food Hub. These member agencies representatives can access food from the Food Hub on behalf of their clients. The Food For All Food Hub provides pantry staples, some toiletries and fresh fruit and vegetables. The Food Hub has been open for 2 years and in that time has helped over 6500 people with food relief in Swan Hill and District. We look forward to continuing to work on providing food relief to the Swan Hill Community.
